I mentor attorneys, equipping them with the tools and strategies they need to tackle trucking cases with confidence.
Together, we’ll create a strategy designed to maximize your case’s success, help secure outstanding recoveries, and reduce costly referral fees. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable insights and skills in trucking law, leaving you more confident and empowered as a legal professional.
I began my law practice in 1997. My first case was a $75 name change in a modest office overlooking a cemetery in Roswell, Georgia. It may not have been glamorous, but it laid the foundation for the work ethic and determination that have defined my career. From the start, I focused on trucking law. Early on, I was second chair to a trial attorney who worked a series of trucking cases, some involving direct action issues that I argued in the Court of Appeals. As I progressed, I immersed myself in learning the complexities of this field. Unable to afford expensive live seminars, I relied on every video replay from truck law seminars I could find. Those modest beginnings taught me grit and resourcefulness, which became the cornerstones of my practice.
As a solo practitioner, I often faced powerful trucking defense firms. That experience taught me how to strategize, leverage technology, and outwork my opponents. These lessons remain at the core of my practice and guide me in mentoring other attorneys to help them achieve the best outcomes for their clients.
My Philosophy
I believe in obtaining the best possible result for my clients. Some attorneys may have larger offices or more resources, but I make up for it with relentless effort, focus, and preparation. This level of dedication is what clients deserve, and it’s the same commitment I bring to mentoring attorneys as they pursue success for their clients.
Keeping clients informed every step of the way is essential to building the kind of trust that makes great recoveries possible. When clients see steady progress and understand the decisions being made on their behalf, they can rely on their attorney with confidence when critical moments arise in their case.
I place a high value on understanding the law inside and out. Staying sharp on evolving trucking standards, persuasion theory and trial techniques ensures I achieve the best possible result. When mentoring attorneys, I share these specialized insights and help them avoid common missteps while developing strategies that work in trucking law.
My Mentorship Journey
I began mentoring attorneys 15 years ago, not as a practice area, but more from a desire to teach younger attorneys how to become better lawyers. This has been a fulfilling part of my career.
Sharing lessons with younger attorneys and colleagues has been rewarding, especially when helping skilled personal injury attorneys unfamiliar with trucking law. Trucking law requires a deep understanding of regulations, industry standards, and the nuances of handling complex cases. I help attorneys unlock the sophistication needed to succeed and win their cases.
